Shipping & Delivery

I treat every shipment like the one-of-a-kind treasure it is. My “Double-Armour” packaging process is designed to withstand the rigours of transit.

My Packaging Process

Glass Art & Sculptures: Each piece is first cocooned in high-density bubble wrap. I then double-wrap the item in heavy-duty corrugated cardboard to create a rigid protective shell before placing it into a sturdy shipping box filled with additional shock-absorbing padding.
Pendants: To ensure lightweight but maximum protection, pendants are securely wrapped in bubble wrap and tucked into a reinforced bubble-lined mailer bag.
Dispatch Times: When an item is in stock, I will endeavour to ship within 2 working days. If your item is handmade to order, please allow 7-10 business days for me to prepare and package your parcel with the care it deserves.
Tracking: Once your order is on its way, you will receive a tracking number via email so you can monitor its journey to your doorstep.

Returns & Exchanges

I want you to be completely in love with your Mara Amore piece. If something isn’t right, here is how I can help:

Damaged Items

In the highly unlikely event that your piece arrives broken despite my robust packaging:

1. Please take a photo of the damaged item and the packaging immediately.

2. Contact me at [email protected] within 48 hours of delivery.

3. I will arrange for a replacement or a full refund at no extra cost to you.

Change of Mind

If you find the piece isn’t the right fit for your home:

Window: You have 14 days from the date of delivery to request a return.
Condition: Items must be returned in their original, unused condition and in the original “Double-Armour” packaging.
Postage Costs: Customers are responsible for return postage costs. I strongly recommend using a tracked and insured service, as I cannot refund items that are lost or damaged during their return journey.

Non-Returnable Items

Custom-made or personalised glass commissions.
Earrings (for hygiene reasons).

A Note on Handcrafted Art: Please remember that because every Mara Amore piece is handmade, slight variations in colour, texture, and shape are part of the unique soul of the work. These are not flaws, but fingerprints of my process.

Shipping Insurance & High-Value Items

I take every precaution to ensure your art arrives safely; however, once a parcel is handed over to the courier, certain elements are beyond my control.

Standard Insurance: All orders are sent via a tracked service that includes basic compensation cover.
High-Value Orders: For pieces valued over £75, I highly recommend selecting an enhanced “Insured Shipping” option at checkout. This ensures the full value of your unique piece is protected against loss or damage during transit.
Transit Liability: Mara Amore cannot be held responsible for the loss or damage of items where the value exceeds the compensation limit of the shipping method chosen by the customer.
Claims: In the rare event of a lost or damaged parcel, I will manage the claim with the courier on your behalf. Please note that compensation is subject to the courier’s successful investigation and their specific “Fragile Items” policies.
