Hello, and welcome — I’m Heather Carpenter, the artist behind each unique piece of glass you’ll find here.

My creative journey began not with glass, but with movement. With a background in performing arts and specifically dance, I’ve always been drawn to the rhythm, flow, and emotional expression found in movement. That same passion now shapes my work in glass — a medium where light, color, and form can dance in their own way.

While I may not be Irish by birth, I’m proud to be married to a wonderful Irish man, and together, our hearts are firmly rooted in the wild beauty of Connemara. The dramatic skies, rugged coastline, and quiet poetry of the landscape continue to inspire my work every day.

Each piece I create is handmade and one-of-a-kind, designed to capture not only the visual essence of Western Ireland, but also a sense of motion — as if the glass itself is alive with the energy of wind, tide, or the flicker of light on water.
