Inspired by the wild montbretia that brightens the landscape of southern Ireland each summer, this woodland glass piece combines handcrafted glass with a naturally carved wooden log. The vibrant glass is mounted behind a recessed opening in the wood, allowing light to shine through and bring the colours to life.
Each piece is individually made, celebrating the natural grain and character of the wood, ensuring no two are the same. The artwork can be purchased with or without an optional solid log base, allowing it to be displayed freestanding, or hung on the wall without the base.
