Brighten up your windows and explore the beautiful world of glass art in my fused glass suncatcher workshop. Join me for a hands-on, creative workshop where you will design and create your own stunning, mosaic-style fused glass suncatcher—just like the one pictured.
No prior glass-working experience is required. Whether you are a complete beginner looking to try something new or a crafting enthusiast, I will guide you every step of the way.
What You’ll Do
During this relaxed and social 2 hour workshop, you will:

Learn the Basics: Get a brief introduction to the principles of glass fusing, compatibility, and safety.
- Learn to Cut Glass: Learn how to use the tools and cut straight lines cleanly.

Design Your Masterpiece: Plan your layout using a wide array of colorful glass fragments, stringers, and pebbles. Create a beautiful rainbow gradient, an abstract landscape, or a completely unique pattern.

Assemble Your Art: Arrange and glue your chosen glass pieces onto a clear glass base plate.

The Firing Process: Leave your finished piece with me! I will fire it in my specialized glass kiln to a “tack-fuse,” melting the pieces together while maintaining a beautiful, raised, light-catching texture.

Important Information
Note on Collection: Because glass fusing and cooling in a kiln takes over 24 hours, you won’t be able to take your suncatcher home on the day. Your finished piece will be ready for collection from the shop 7–10 days after the workshop (or can be posted to you for a small additional fee).
What to Wear: For safety reasons, please wear closed-toe shoes (no sandals) and comfortable clothing you don’t mind getting a little dusty.
